Terry
Anderson has earned a B.S. from Georgetown University in Russian & German
studies, a M.S. and Ph.D. from McGill University in Soviet & Slavic Studies,
and an M.B.A. from Harvard University in Marketing & Management.
Before entering the financial services industry, Mr.
Anderson worked in the Soviet Counter Espionage unit of the F.B.I. in
Washington, D.C. and as a Russian Interpreter for the International Civil
Aviation Organization of the United Nations in Montreal. He was also a
professor of Russian Area Studies at the University of Richmond.
Early on in his financial services industry, he was the Director of Annuity
Sales & a Series 7 Registered Representative with Anderson & Strudwick.
Subsequently, he became the National Director of
Marketing & Training for Compulife, Inc.: a third-party marketing
organization established to put banks, S & L's and credit unions into the
annuity business.
Mr. Anderson’s accomplished achievements include being
the leading annuity producer nationally for 19 years while employing
self-created, unique marketing and personal promotion systems. Additionally,
he is the published author of 6 books focused on the marketing and promotion
of financial products and the author of numerous articles discussing various
aspects of marketing.
In representing the National Association of Realtors,
Mr. Anderson has created several personal marketing tools, including the
audio business card.
His most recent achievements for the financial services
industry include the development of the "Prospect Capture System," and the
Bio-On demand program (agent professional resumes by fax-0n-demand).
Terry Anderson is very involved in the community and is
the supporter of several local charitable organizations.
